Ward, who had still been in bed, twitched at the call. A growling stomach was what got him out of bed, putting aside the small dog he had been previously cuddling in absence of Fae. He plodded to the kitchen still half asleep, finding Fae and wrapping his arms around her hips.

Her neck was peppered with little kissed from behind, hair brushed out of the way.

“What did you make..?”

“a fry-up…I felt that a certain man needed a big breakfast to get his energy back after last night.” She gave a sheepish grin as she dished up bacon, eggs, toast, sausage, potatoes, and baked beans. After everything was dished up she turned in his arms to give him a proper good morning kiss. “Mmm did you sleep well?”

“I did.” He murmured, nuzzling against her cheek with a smile.

“You’re spoiling me. At this rate I’ll never leave..” With one last little kiss he reached for the plate, taking them both over to the table.

“oh dear…looks like you’ve discovered my plan” she grinned as she brought over tea and juice before sitting down. She started to eat her food as she looked over at Ward eating his. She couldn’t help but realize that this was the first time in a long time, that a man was sitting across from her and sharing a normal breakfast. The thought made her smile but she decided to keep it to herself. “So I was thinking that the two of us could shower after breakfast, and then go to the shops to get you some new clothes”

It had been at least a week if not more since Ward had come to her cafe, bloodied and damaged. Now here she was cooking breakfast for the two of them after another night together. Today they were going to go shopping for some new clothes for Ward, as well as some other things he might need such as a razor, soap, and a toothbrush. While she had all of these, she knew he might appreciate not smelling like roses and using her bright pink spare toothbrush. “Ward! Breakfast is ready!”

She smiled and kissed her way up her body finally ending at her lips. she nuzzled her neck and cuddled her. “don’t worry about being female for long…it will wear off…and even if it didn’t…” she smiled and kissed…

She gave her hand a squeeze, relaxing back into the bed.
“…it’s a pity really. I was planning on going clothes shopping today.”

“we can do it when it wears off…don’t worry” She smiled and lied there. “for the meantime…you could wear some of mine if you wanted”

“I would appreciate it.” He scooted closer still, pulling Fae close and nuzzling against her hair.
“Suppose I should look for somewhere to live, as well. Unless you wouldn’t mind having me around all the time.”

“…” This made Fae pause for a moment. It was so sudden to suggest such a thing. but Ward and her seemed to get along so well. “…no…I don’t think I would mind…I mean It wouldn’t hurt to see what would happen…if we tried…you know…”

He nodded against her head, giving a little squeeze of a hug.
“Thank you so much Fae. Of course, along with that.. if you wanted to bring anyone else home for the night, I won’t get involved at all.”
He didn’t want to be too smothering on her. They could work out the rest later.

“you won’t have to worry about that…I wouldn’t do that to you…” She looked up at Ward. “Listen…I’m going to try and see fewer people…I don’t want to make you feel like you’re a one night stand. You’re special Ward…”
